A lot of people do not think about the fact that you use muscles located around your mouth to pronounce sounds, so they don’t remember that muscles need exercise to work well. I think about pronunciation like doing the splits (stretching each leg to each side and sitting down). Why can some people do the splits and some people cannot? The people who can have practiced doing the splits for a long time, and now they can do it easily. People like me, who haven’t practiced, can’t do the splits at all.

So, to pronounce words in English (or any other language) better, you need to practice and exercise your muscles. At least 5 minutes of pronunciation practice each day is necessary to improve and perfect your pronunciation.

There are 3 sections here on pronunciation: basic pronunciation for beginners, minimal pair practice for intermediate students, and some other various pronunciation guides for more specific situations.
